Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival audience grew from 85,000 in 2008 to 122,000 in 2009. In 2004 it was 37,000.
Summerworks Theatre Festival grew 34% in 2009.
Toronto Fringe Festival 2009 had 60,000 ticket patrons plus 12,000 free -- up 3.5% in paid attendance form last year.
