Foundation Partners with CIBC to Celebrate Creative Community

TORONTO – Toronto Arts Foundation is pleased to welcome CIBC as a new Presenting Sponsor of the Toronto Arts Foundation Awards. This two year partnership will bring CIBC to the forefront of celebrating artists, business and political leaders, and cultural innovators in the City of Toronto.

“From Toronto’s artistic leaders, to our most ambitious emerging artists and arts organizations committed to youth, the past winners of our awards are doing their part to build the cultural legacy of our great city” said Claire Hopkinson, Director & CEO, Toronto Arts Foundation. “We are delighted that CIBC will be joining us in celebrating the vital role the arts play in strengthening communities throughout Toronto.”

CIBC will donate $90,000, an investment that will help the Foundation turn up the spotlight on the achievements of Toronto’s creative community as they work to build a Creative City: Block by Block.

“CIBC has a long history of supporting programs and initiatives that embrace and enrich Canadian culture” said Tracy Best, Region Head, GTA East, Retail and Business Banking, CIBC. “CIBC is proud to present the Toronto Arts Foundation Awards, and recognize the creative and artistic contributions that help build our strong and vibrant community.”
