TORONTO ARTS COUNCIL COMMUNITY CONSULTATIONSLET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINKTAC has achieved a major milestone this year with a budget increase of $597,000 contributing to a total grants budget of $10.2 million. This fulfils the commitment made by Toronto City Council in the 2003 Culture Plan for a Creative City. Now it is time to go substantially beyond this achievement and establish targets and goals for the next five years. TAC is therefore implementing widespread community consultations to get input from Toronto’s artists, arts organizations and interested members of the public, beginning in mid-May. Sessions will focus on the role of the arts in Toronto while contributing to a plan for TAC’s future development. We’d love to hear from you!
